Good News for Entrepreneurs: Babken Tunyan
MP Babken Tunyan from the 'My Step' faction of the National Assembly has announced on his Facebook page that the requirements for the first, second, and third measures to mitigate the economic consequences of the coronavirus have been softened regarding the maintenance of a good tax history. Eligible beneficiaries can include not only those entrepreneurs for whom administrative proceedings have not been initiated for tax obligations outstanding for the 365 days prior to the application submission date, but also those who did not have overdue tax obligations as of December 31, 2019. In other words, an entrepreneur may have faced issues with tax payments during the year, but regardless of this circumstance, if they closed the year without tax liabilities, they can apply for these programs and benefit from preferential loans.
