Vardanyan to Propose Criminalizing Calls for Genocide
There is a gap in Armenia's legislation, as calls for genocide are not defined as criminal offenses. This was stated today by Vladimir Vardanyan, the head of the National Assembly's Legal Affairs Committee, during a session in the National Assembly.
He mentioned that he will soon present a legislative initiative aimed at criminalizing public calls for genocide, proposing imprisonment for such calls.
