Fishermen in Turkey Catch Fish Weighing 60 and 75 kg
In the eastern province of Erzincan in Turkey (historically known as Erezan), fishermen have caught fish weighing 60 kg and 75 kg from the Karasu River. Gültekin Güzelkabağacı, who has been fishing for 40 years, stated in an interview with Turkish media that it took them 3-4 hours to pull these gigantic fish out of the water.
According to Ermenihaber, the fish caught from the Karasu River measured 160 cm and 180 cm in length. The fishermen sold their catch in the market for 40 Turkish liras (approximately 2900 dram) per kilogram. Gültekin also noted that it takes them 3-4 days of effort to catch such fish.
