Russia Reports 2,186 New Coronavirus Cases in One Day

In the past 24 hours, over 2,000 new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded across 52 regions of Russia, according to data from the operational headquarters reported by Gazeta.

According to the headquarters, a total of 2,186 people have contracted the virus. The majority of cases were detected in Moscow, with 1,306 individuals infected, while another 278 cases were reported in the Moscow region. Additionally, 69 cases were identified in St. Petersburg, and 61 cases were found in the Murmansk region. The Nizhny Novgorod region ranks fifth in the number of infections, with 42 cases reported.

Furthermore, in one day, 24 patients have died from the virus, while 246 people have been discharged after recovery.

Overall, there have been 15,770 confirmed cases of coronavirus across 82 regions of Russia, with a total of 130 deaths and 1,291 recoveries.
