Classes Suspended in Artsakh: Educational Institutions to Remain Closed Until Emergency Situation is Resolved
During the emergency situation, educational institutions in the Republic of Artsakh will remain closed, with the exception of military schools. This information is derived from the relevant points of the decree declaring the state of emergency, which are outlined below:
“27. By the decision of the authorities, certain types of economic activities may be prohibited throughout the territory of the Republic of Artsakh or in individual communities. The authorities may also temporarily prohibit the activities of certain legal entities and individual entrepreneurs engaged in economic activities, as well as the sale of agricultural products by individuals in markets, in places where the regulations established by the authorities are not complied with.”
“28. Throughout the emergency situation, the educational process will be suspended in state, community, and non-state public educational institutions (including preschool), preliminary vocational (craft), secondary vocational, and higher educational institutions, as well as in organizations conducting extracurricular education (children and youth creative and aesthetic centers, music, painting, and art schools, clubs, sports schools, health camps, and other organizations conducting extracurricular education), with the exception of remote learning. This restriction does not apply to military educational institutions.”
“29. Organizations licensed to provide medical assistance and services (regardless of ownership) will provide medical assistance and services based on the instructions of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh.”
