Curfew Imposed in Turkey Over the Weekend
The Turkish authorities have imposed a curfew in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Residents of 30 major cities and Zonguldak province are prohibited from leaving their homes on April 11 and 12. This was announced by the country's Ministry of Interior.
The duration of the restriction is from April 11 at 00:00 until April 13 at 00:00.
The restrictions also apply to Ankara and Istanbul. According to Anadolu, on April 10, the country recorded 98 deaths, bringing the total number of victims of the coronavirus to 1,006, with over 47,000 infected.
