Armenian Family Infected with Coronavirus in Ukraine
A representative of the Armenian community in Ukraine has reported that four members of an Armenian family have been infected with the coronavirus. This information was provided to AnalitikaUA.net by Hovakim Harutyunyan, the executive director of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine. According to him, all those infected are family members and have been hospitalized.
Regarding the question of those wishing to return to Armenia, he mentioned that about 30 citizens have expressed a desire to leave, but there is currently no opportunity for that.
The publication notes that the Armenian community and clergy in Ukraine are actively involved in the fight against the coronavirus. Vilen Shatvoryan, the head of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine, has issued a message expressing his gratitude to the community and those supporting efforts during these difficult days.
As of now, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Ukraine exceeds 2500.
