If the state of emergency is lifted, we must not return to the rhythm of our former lives: Minister
The circulation of the virus in Armenia remains widespread. If we consider the provision of adequate medical care to patients, the situation is under control. This was stated today, April 10, during a meeting with journalists by Health Minister Arsen Torosyan.
“We are able to provide adequate medical care to everyone; moreover, we still have reserves to assist a larger number of patients. This does not mean that we can relax and return to our previous way of life. I want to emphasize that there should not be a return to our former lives for a long time. Even if the state of emergency is lifted, we must not return to the rhythm of our former lives, starting from maintaining social distancing to washing our hands,” he said.
“We must not allow our designated hospitals to run out of space for serious patients and be forced to treat them in other hospital conditions, which is fraught with undesirable consequences,” the minister added.
