Prices of Buckwheat, Bread, Rice, and Oil Increase in Lori Province
The prices of essential goods have shown varying changes across different regions in the Lori Province of Armenia. According to the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition, there have been no price changes for bread, flour, sugar, lentils, buckwheat, rice, and oil in the Kotayk Province, particularly in the communities of Abovyan, Hrazdan, Yeghvard, and Charentsavan.
However, the situation is different in Lori Province. In the communities of Alaverdi, Vanadzor, Spitak, and Stepanavan, the price of buckwheat has increased by 70-250 dram per kilogram. The price of bread weighing 500-650 grams has increased by 10-20 dram (with no price change observed in Stepanavan). Meanwhile, the price of 1 kg of flour has decreased by 20-90 dram, and the price of sugar has decreased by 20-40 dram.
During the observed period, 1 kg of rice has become more expensive by 50 dram in Vanadzor and by 80 dram in Stepanavan. Additionally, the price of 1 liter of oil has increased by 20 dram in the Alaverdi community.
