Price Increase of Consumer Goods Observed in Artsakh
According to the public services and economic competition regulation commission, as of April 8, 2020, an analysis was conducted in 20 commercial establishments in Stepanakert, which included monitoring of 43 types of widely consumed goods. Compared to the previous day, an average price change was recorded for 7 products, including 5 price increases and 2 price decreases. Artsakh’s information headquarters reported this.
Specifically, the following products experienced average price increases: lentils (1 kg) by 42 drams or 6.7%, buckwheat (1 kg) by 20 drams or 3.0%, coffee “original light star” (100 grams) by 3 drams or 1.4%, sugar (1 kg) by 2 drams or 0.7%, and tea “Akbar” (100 grams) by 2 drams or 0.3%.
Meanwhile, price decreases were observed for cucumbers (1 kg) at 100 drams or 12% and lemons (1 piece) at 17 drams or 5.7%.
