Mobile Laboratory for Covid-19 Testing to Open Today in Yerevan - Shushan Stepanyan

Shushan Stepanyan, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, announced on her Facebook page that a consultation took place between the Armed Forces of Armenia and experts from the Russian Armed Forces who arrived in Armenia yesterday. The mobile laboratory for Covid-19 testing, transported to Armenia, will be inaugurated today at 14:00.

“Today, under the leadership of Col. Sahak Ohanyan, head of the Armed Forces’ Military Medical Department, a consultation was held with the specialists from the Russian Armed Forces who arrived in Armenia yesterday. Work planning was carried out, technical issues were discussed, and the composition of the training group was clarified. The mobile laboratory for Covid-19 testing will be inaugurated today at 14:00 in Yerevan and will be ready to accept the first samples, ensuring 99% accuracy within 5 hours. Sample collection will be conducted by the Armed Forces of Armenia, while the analysis will be performed by Russian Armed Forces specialists,” the post stated.
