Food and Protective Supplies to be Provided to Vulnerable Individuals in Aragatsotn Province
The 'My Step' Foundation, guided by the principle of social responsibility and recognizing the urgent need to support vulnerable groups perceived as at risk due to COVID-19 during the state of emergency in Armenia, has decided to combine its efforts and resources with the Armenian Red Cross Society.
This was reported by the press service of the Ararat regional administration. As a result of the collaboration between the Aragatsotn Province Administration, the 'My Step' Foundation, and the Armenian Red Cross Society, food and protective supply packages will be provided to elderly individuals living alone, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable residents of the Aragatsotn Province.
The list of beneficiaries has been provided by the Aragatsotn Province Administration. The packages will be distributed this week to 421 residents of the province through volunteers from the Armenian Red Cross and employees from the territorial divisions of social security of the Aragatsotn Province Administration. The distribution process started yesterday.
To encourage economic activity in the communities, all packages have been sourced from local businesses. We extend our gratitude to all donors and partners of the 'My Step' Foundation for their collaborative efforts.
