Doctors at Ijevan Polyclinic Reluctant to Accept Patients: 'Iravunk'
The newspaper 'Iravunk' reports: 'The coronavirus, which has caused chaos worldwide, seems to not only fail to create urgency in some community health institutions, but in the only polyclinic in the city of Ijevan, patients are being forced to stay home and not seek medical help until the situation becomes critical.
At first glance, this may seem absurd; however, in Armenia, especially now, nothing should surprise anyone. A source residing in Ijevan shared with us that they have experienced all the symptoms of coronavirus for several days—high fever, difficulty breathing, and cough—but have received no assistance from the polyclinic in Ijevan.
Our interlocutor conveyed that the doctors at the Ijevan polyclinic treat patients with unbearable rudeness, showing disdain towards everyone who approaches them for help.'
