Global Coronavirus Cases Exceed 1.2 Million, According to Worldometers
The total number of coronavirus cases worldwide has reached 1,274,325, with 69,474 deaths and 264,837 recoveries, according to data from the international statistical service Worldometers.
Currently, 940,014 people are actively being treated, of which 45,893 (5%) are in serious condition.
The United States continues to lead the world in the number of confirmed cases, with a tally of 336,830. The country has recorded 9,618 deaths.
Spain ranks second with 131,646 cases and 12,641 fatalities.
Italy reports 128,948 confirmed cases and 15,887 deaths.
