Priority Given to Citizens with Urgent and Indispensable Reasons for Return to Armenia, Says Armenian Embassy in Russia
On April 6, charter flight Moscow-Yerevan by 'Red Wings' airline from Domodedovo Airport is scheduled to carry 220 passengers. This was reported by the Armenian Embassy in Russia.
“In response to certain inquiries raised, we would like to emphasize that the embassy is taking all possible measures to ensure the return of citizens to Armenia amidst this complex situation. However, it should be noted that the charter flight from Domodedovo Airport on April 6 is still scheduled for 220 passengers. Meanwhile, the number of citizens registered for return currently exceeds two thousand. For this reason, priority is being given to those with urgent and indispensable reasons for return. This includes individuals requiring postoperative recovery and those returning for medical treatment to Armenia, citizens in extremely difficult financial situations, and families with young children, among others. We had mentioned this in our previous statement.
At the same time, we consider any speculation on this matter to be unnecessary. We also remind once again that our citizens returning to Armenia will be subjected to a mandatory 14-day quarantine regime; that is, they will be transferred from the airport to designated quarantine facilities,” the embassy stated in its announcement.
