What is the Russian Embassy in Armenia Doing and Who Actually Helped the 40 Armenian Citizens Stranded at Domodedovo?
Yesterday it became known that due to the spread of coronavirus, Russia is suspending all international flights. By late evening, it was revealed that 40 Armenian citizens were stranded at Domodedovo Airport. When media outlets reported that the embassy was assisting citizens with hotel arrangements, a user named Roman Baghdasaryan presented entirely different information. You can watch the details in the video.
Roman Baghdasaryan was particularly angered by the statement from the spokesperson of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which claimed that the first to extend a helping hand to those in desperate situations and arrange hotel transfers was Shahen Petrosyan, the head of the Armenian community in Moscow.
Moreover, on April 6 at 15:40 Moscow time, a charter flight (WZ4323) will be organized from Moscow to Yerevan, allowing only Armenian citizens currently in Russia to return to Armenia.
