Another Armenian Dies from Coronavirus in Russia, COVID-19 Diagnosed in Five Citizens of Armenia
Another Armenian has died from coronavirus in Russia. Vardan Toghanyan, Armenia's ambassador in Russia, confirmed this information in a conversation with Sputnik Armenia. “He is a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, ethnically Armenian. His family has lived in Russia for several years. This is the information we have at this moment,” the ambassador said.
Toghanyan added that at present, COVID-19 has been diagnosed in five citizens of Armenia currently in the Russian Federation.
According to media reports, the deceased Armenian citizen is 58-year-old Vardevan Ordian. It is worth noting that earlier, a 69-year-old epidemiologist of Armenian descent and a citizen of Russia, Arpik Hasratyan, also died in Russia.
