477 People Fined for Violating Restrictions in One Day
The police continue to ensure the enforcement of the Prime Minister's decision regarding restrictions on the free movement of individuals to prevent the possible spread of the novel coronavirus. From 9 AM on April 3 to 9 AM on April 4, an administrative violation report was compiled for 477 individuals for violating isolation or self-isolation rules or other restrictions on the right to free movement. After the Prime Minister's decision came into effect, 5,665 individuals were subjected to these measures until 9 AM on April 4, with 2,441 of them in the capital and 3,224 in the regions.
We once again urge the public to strictly limit leaving their residences and to do so only in cases of extreme necessity, while adhering to the requirements set forth in the Prime Minister's decision.
