More than 70 Doctors Among Coronavirus Victims in Italy: ANSA
In Italy, 73 doctors have fallen victim to the coronavirus, according to ANSA, citing the FNOMCEO, the country's federation of doctors.
"Today, the number of deaths among doctors due to the coronavirus has reached 73," the publication stated.
Notable casualties include cardiologist Ricardo Paris and family doctor Domenico Musafir.
On March 31, it was reported that 63 doctors had died due to COVID-19 in Italy. Overall, the virus has been detected in 8,538 Italian healthcare workers.
