Programs to Support the Elderly Continue, Says Batoyan
The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, Zaruhi Batoyan, announced at a press briefing that all programs for elderly care continue to operate. Food packages are being provided to the elderly.
The minister also clarified the social packages that the government has adopted as anti-crisis measures. The first one concerns families with children under the age of 14, where a parent lost their job between March 13 and 25 due to the situation created by the coronavirus.
