Foreign Ministry Statement on COVID-19 Restrictions
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has issued a statement regarding COVID-19 restrictions.
“We would like to remind that our citizens cannot use the land route to return from Russia to Armenia, which has been closed since March 18. The Upper Lars border crossing is open exclusively for freight transport.
For information on the restrictions imposed by various countries in the fight against the coronavirus and the movement options for our citizens abroad, we kindly ask you to rely solely on the releases provided by the Government Emergency Management Committee, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Armenian diplomatic missions abroad,” the statement reads.
