Surent Sargsyan on Canada's Embassy Statement in Turkey
Political scientist Suren Sargsyan has addressed the statement made by Canada’s embassy in Turkey regarding Canada’s non-recognition of the elections in Artsakh. He wrote on Facebook, "Request back Justin's Armenian socks. In reality, it seems that Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs worked well for this phrase, as we can see from the media reports."
"Canada supports Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and does not recognize the so-called 'elections' that took place in Nagorno-Karabakh on March 31. Such 'elections' jeopardize, among other things, the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group to reach a peaceful resolution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," the official Twitter account of the Canadian Embassy in Turkey stated.
