Opera Singer Anna Sardarayan Passes Away; Pneumonia Identified as Cause
Anna Sardarayan, a singer from the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Armenia, passed away yesterday. This has been confirmed by the opera theatre's Facebook page.
In a conversation with an Armenpress correspondent, the theatre's deputy director Karine Kirakosyan stated that Sardarayan died on March 31. "According to the information we have received, the cause of her death is pneumonia," emphasized Kirakosyan, adding that there is no additional information regarding the singer's death.
The choir members last performed at the opera theatre on March 13. The entire staff of the theatre extends their condolences to the family and loved ones of Anna Sardarayan.
