Do Not Dispose Used Masks and Gloves in Unintended Places
The Ministry of Environment calls for used medical masks and gloves not to be disposed of in unintended places.
“We urge you to refrain from polluting the environment, as a used mask or glove thrown on the street not only contaminates the environment but also serves as a potential source for the spread of infection. We remind you that used masks and gloves should be disposed of in closed trash bins to prevent the possible spread of infection on them.
Once again, we urge everyone to follow national rules aimed at public health and cohabitation, adhere to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, and protect the environment. Stay home and stay healthy,” the statement reads.
