The Draft Does Not Imply Any Recording of Conversations or Disclosure of Other Content

The Minister of Justice, Rustam Badasyan, has presented a package of draft laws that was approved in the first reading by the National Assembly. The package includes measures to:

• Quickly implement new mechanisms for preventing pandemics through modern electronic means and digital technologies.
• This project does not imply any recording of conversations or disclosure of other content.
• The proposed measures can only be implemented in the event of declaring a state of emergency based on a pandemic.
• All anonymized data collected as a result of the state of emergency declared due to the pandemic are subject to destruction.
