Meeting of the Coronavirus Prevention Commission Held: New Equipment on the Way
The meeting of the commission coordinating efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the Republic of Armenia was held at the government under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Health Minister Arsen Torosyan first addressed the cases of coronavirus infections and the health status of those infected. It was reported that in the coming days, the Armenian healthcare system will be supplemented with new equipment, particularly 100 ventilators, 60,000 tests, along with other supplies such as masks, special medical clothing, goggles, and more.
The discussion then focused on the steps to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the manageability of the epidemiological issue, and matters relating to restrictions on movement and economic activity. In conclusion, the Prime Minister instructed to present a draft decision, taking into account the proposals and comments made during the discussion.
