48 New Cases of Coronavirus Registered in China in One Day
In the last day, 48 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in China. All infected individuals have returned from other countries, with one person having died and 282 having recovered. This information was reported by the "RIA Novosti" agency, citing the State Commission of the People's Republic of China for Health.
The number of infected individuals who have come from abroad stands at 771, with 667 currently ill, 18 in serious condition, and 104 having recovered. No deaths have been recorded among this group.
The State Commission for Health has received information from 31 provinces regarding 81,518 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection, with 2,161 people currently ill (528 of whom are in serious condition), 76,052 having been discharged from hospitals, and 3,305 deaths reported.
No new cases of infection were registered in Hubei province, the epicenter of the pandemic, over the past day. A total of 271 individuals were discharged from hospitals (269 in Wuhan), and one death was confirmed in the city of Wuhan.
Since the beginning of the outbreak, Hubei province has recorded 67,801 cases of infection (50,006 in Wuhan), with 63,153 patients having recovered, and 3,187 having died (2,548 in Wuhan). Currently, the number of patients in the province stands at 1,461 (1,456 in Wuhan), of which 497 are in serious condition (493 in Wuhan).
