What Happened at the Border: MoD Spokesperson Provides Details

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Shushan Stepanyan, wrote on her Facebook page: "Today, around 19:00, the Azerbaijani side attempted a diversionary infiltration towards the Armenian positions in the Noyemberyan region of Tavush Province. Thanks to the actions of the Armenian defense forces, the enemy was repelled, and information about losses is being clarified. The Armenian side sustained no losses; however, two servicemen received minor injuries as a result of the actions.

Simultaneously, the enemy targeted the villages of Baghanis and Voskivan, resulting in a child from the Voskivan community being injured while on the balcony at that moment.

To stabilize the situation in the border zone and curb the outrageous actions taken by the Azerbaijani armed forces, specifically the border service under the pandemic conditions, the Armenian armed forces will respond with appropriate measures, bearing the full responsibility for the consequences of these actions on the part of Azerbaijan's military and political leadership."
