VIDEO: New Decisions Are Being Prepared to Make Support More Targeted. Pashinyan

Yesterday, I held a discussion with representatives of the economic bloc through phone calls during a live broadcast. Currently, new decisions are being prepared to make support more targeted. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in a video posted on his Facebook page while communicating with citizens about their social issues related to the state of emergency.

He mentioned that the Government of Armenia is preparing a series of decisions for anti-crisis actions. “I am currently looking for representatives from specific social strata to make our actions more targeted. After yesterday's conversation, we had discussions within our economic working group, and this had a certain impact on the course of our discussions. Now, a series of decisions for anti-crisis actions are being prepared. We will try to be maximally targeted and effective,” said Pashinyan.

The Prime Minister noted that effectiveness is the most important issue, as during the provision of assistance, there can be groups that concentrate the circulating support for themselves. “We know that in crisis situations, when assistance is distributed, there is always a very agile, small group that manages to concentrate the circulating support through various means. Now our task is to ensure effectiveness, so that these funds and aids are targeted and reach the people who really need them,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
