Ukraine Also Suspends Non-Chartered Flights from Its Territory
The Ukrainian government has announced new entry and exit rules for countries, stating that as of March 28 at 00:00, non-chartered flights will also be suspended until April 24. According to Armenpress, this information was shared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia through a post on Facebook, adding that regular flights had been halted since March 17 at 00:01.
“At the same time, ground traffic (only personal vehicles and by foot) remains open through certain checkpoints for Ukrainians returning to the country. This includes foreign nationals residing in the country or foreign family members of Ukrainian citizens, although it is still unclear at this time. Regarding the exit of foreigners to those countries that have not completely closed their borders (as of now, this is only Belarus), the Ukrainian side has not yet clarified the mechanism for this,” the statement said.
The Embassy of Armenia in Ukraine will provide additional clarification as soon as the information is received.
