Another 10 citizens recovered today. 40 isolated individuals discharged and went home, Torosyan

At the moment, there are 329 confirmed cases, 28 recovered, and 300 citizens currently undergoing treatment, with one death reported. This was announced today, March 27, during a live session on Facebook by Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan.

“Yesterday, around 40 citizens in isolation were discharged after their tests returned negative, and they have returned home. Additionally, today, 10 individuals with two negative tests will be released from the hospital. Thus, we can officially say that there are another 10 recovered citizens. Adding to the previous 18, we can state that there are currently 28 recovered citizens,” the minister said.

“We have one patient in extremely critical condition, whose state remains unchanged, with no deterioration or improvement. There is one patient in serious condition, but the lives of the others are not in danger at this time. Most of the patients are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms, simply in isolation in hospitals or hotels,” he added.

Commenting on yesterday’s death case, Arsen Torosyan noted that the patient had a complicated medical history with other chronic illnesses, heart rhythm disturbances, and high blood pressure. “Unfortunately, our intensive care unit team could not save his life, and I express my condolences to his relatives. This case also shows that the main complications arise primarily among our elderly and chronically ill citizens,” he said.

He advised to pay special attention to chronically ill and elderly citizens considering their vulnerability.
