State of Emergency Declared in Ukraine
The Ukrainian authorities have declared a state of emergency in the country due to the coronavirus outbreak, lasting until April 24. The emergency measures call for a specialized regime of interaction between state bodies during the fight against the virus, particularly as all services transition to emergency mode.
During the state of emergency, quarantine measures may be imposed, mass gatherings prohibited, transport restrictions implemented, and borders closed. If necessary, evacuation of the population from the emergency zone can be carried out.
