One Week Work Limitation Cannot Significantly Affect Taxi Drivers, Prime Minister
During a question-and-answer session in the National Assembly, a lawmaker asked the Prime Minister to explain how taxi drivers should survive under the current conditions. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted that taxi drivers have been exempt from taxes for nearly a year.
On the other hand, according to Pashinyan, the government has provided people with significant opportunities to earn money. He mentioned that another program aimed at supporting small and medium enterprises will be adopted tomorrow.
“I do not think that the one-week work limitation should have a significant impact. If it has a significant effect… let them take advantage of these programs. As for those who cannot benefit, that is their problem, because they should have had a license,” said Pashinyan.
