Central Bank Condemns Attempts of Public Pressure on Financial Institutions
The Central Bank of Armenia condemns attempts by various individuals to exert public pressure on financial institutions. This was stated in a press release by the Public Relations Department of the Central Bank of Armenia: "The relationships between lenders and borrowers are defined by contracts and regulated by the Administrative Code of the Republic of Armenia. We urge everyone to exercise restraint and not to manipulate public sentiment and expectations during the state of emergency.
The Central Bank assures that, based on continuous monitoring, the financial system of Armenia is functioning smoothly. The Central Bank continues to carry out its functions to ensure financial stability.
Once again, the Central Bank urges citizens to make use of online financial services, payment applications, and online banking services as much as possible.
