COVID-19 Case Detected in Kotayk and Yerevan Manufacturing Facility, Says Pashinyan
The rise in confirmed COVID-19 cases is causing some concern. This was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a live broadcast on Facebook.
“A case of the virus has been detected in a manufacturing facility in Kotayk province, and a case has also been reported in one of Yerevan's manufacturing facilities in the Erebuni community. We need to implement more extensive restrictions for a week to prevent further spread of the virus,” the Prime Minister stated.
Currently, there are 235 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 26 patients suffering from pneumonia. Starting today, the operation of cafes and restaurants will be prohibited.
