Nearly 90 Percent of Coronavirus Patients Have Recovered in China

The number of patients infected with the new coronavirus in China is decreasing day by day, with 5,120 individuals currently receiving treatment in hospitals. Notably, nearly 90 percent of all confirmed cases have recovered, according to data from the State Committee for Health Affairs of the People's Republic of China, as reported by ria.ru.

According to the latest figures, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in China stands at 81,093, of which 72,703 have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, accounting for 89.65 percent of the total infected.

Since the pandemic began, there have been 13,293 reported cases of infection throughout China (excluding Hubei province), with 117 fatalities, resulting in a mortality rate of 0.88 percent. In the epicenter of the outbreak, Hubei province, there have been 67,800 confirmed cases, with 3,153 deaths, leading to a mortality rate of 4.65 percent.
