Russia Temporarily Suspends Entry of Iranian Citizens Due to Coronavirus Threat
Russia has decided to temporarily suspend the entry of Iranian citizens into the country. This decision will come into effect at midnight on February 28. A statement was released by the government concerning this matter:
“It has been decided to temporarily halt the entry of Iranian citizens arriving for study and work, as well as for private, tourist, and transit purposes,” the statement reads.
The government has also instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia to temporarily stop the registration and issuance of visas to Iranian citizens.
