Main Social Networks Cease to Function in Turkey

Against the backdrop of escalating tensions in Idlib, major social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube have started experiencing outages in Turkey. Media reports also indicate issues with access to Google in the country.

Earlier, reports surfaced about the deaths of 33 Turkish soldiers during an airstrike by government forces in Idlib, with more than 30 people injured.

Difficulties in accessing social networks in Turkey began to arise on the night following the first reports of the soldiers' deaths, according to РИА Новости. Similar issues were previously noted after major terrorist attacks and during the coup attempt in July 2016.
