Urgent: Several Officers and Division Commander Dismissed from Armed Forces Following Soldier's Death
The circumstances surrounding the death of soldier Vahram Avagyan, which occurred on January 30 at one of the military units of the Defense Army, have been clarified by an investigation conducted by a commission established by the army commander. This was reported by the Artsakh Defense Army.
Based on the investigation's findings, it has been decided to dismiss several senior officers, including the deputy commander for moral and psychological support and the division commander, from the armed forces.
Within the same case, the unit commander and his deputies have been subjected to severe disciplinary penalties, while certain officials have faced demotion.
It should also be noted that the investigation is ongoing and those officials who have been penalized are not exempt from potential criminal liability.
