I Urge Aliyev Not to Stick His Autocratic Nose into the Affairs of Advanced, Developed Countries: Ruben Rubinyan
I want to urge the leader of one of the least free countries in the world not to stick his autocratic nose into the affairs of more developed, democratic, and progressive countries and to refrain from making such absurd statements. This was stated by Ruben Rubinyan, a member of the 'My Step' faction in the National Assembly, on his Facebook page.
'Today, we spent the entire day discussing a crucial issue in the National Assembly. Political statements were made, and a political debate occurred regarding the strengthening of state institutions in our democratic country. A decision was made to hold a referendum, which is another important step in our democratic development.
And it turns out that, during this time, the president of our neighboring autocratic, anti-democratic, and xenophobic country, Aliyev, allowed himself to comment on topics related to our country's internal affairs while meeting with the foreign minister of another, to put it mildly, non-democratic neighboring country, Cavushoglu, claiming that there are political prisoners in Armenia.
I urge the leader of one of the least free countries in the world not to stick his autocratic nose into the affairs of more developed, democratic, and progressive countries and to refrain from making such absurd statements,' he noted.
