Change in Traffic Organization on Amiryan Street
In order to improve traffic safety and prevent road accidents, a change in traffic organization will be implemented on Amiryan Street in Yerevan starting January 16. This change will occur at the section of Amiryan Street adjacent to the Republic Square, specifically at the unregulated pedestrian crossing.
According to the police, a traffic light operating in a 'pedestrian call' mode will be installed at the aforementioned unregulated pedestrian crossing. From now on, the movement of vehicles and pedestrians in this road segment will be regulated by the traffic light signals, with the pedestrians having the authority to intervene in the flow of traffic.
