Trade Volume Between the US and China Has Sharply Decreased

The trade volume between the United States and China has sharply decreased amid the trade war, amounting to $541.22 billion in 2019, which is a 14.6% decline from 2018 figures, according to a report released by China’s General Administration of Customs, as reported by RIA Novosti.

During this period, US exports to China fell by 12.5% to $418.5 billion. Meanwhile, America exported only $122.7 billion worth of goods to China, which is a 20.9% decrease compared to the previous year.
