Strike in Italy to Affect Flights from Armenia
The Civil Aviation Committee reports that a strike has been announced by several unions managing air traffic in Italy on January 14 of this year, lasting four hours. The strike is scheduled to begin at 13:00 local time and will last until 17:00, during which a number of flights will be canceled.
Considering that Ryanair is set to operate its first flights to Zvartnots Airport from the cities of Rome and Milan on January 14, delays are expected due to the inability to maintain the predetermined flight schedule.
According to information received from Ryanair:
- The flight Milan – Yerevan FR4456 will depart from Milan Airport on January 14 at 08:40 local time.
- The flight Yerevan – Milan FR4457 will leave Zvartnots Airport on January 14 at 16:20 local time.
- The flight Rome – Yerevan FR4454 will depart from Rome Airport on January 14 at 17:00 local time.
- The flight Yerevan – Rome FR4455 will leave Zvartnots Airport on January 15 at 00:20 local time.
