Prosecutor's Office Rejects Appeal Against Property Seizure of Serzh Sargsyan
The Prosecutor's Office has rejected the appeal filed by former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan's lawyer against the decision to seize his property. This was confirmed in response to a query from Hetq.
It should be noted that following the charges of particularly large-scale embezzlement against Sargsyan, the Special Investigative Service decided to seize his property in accordance with the alleged damage caused by the crime, prompting his lawyer Amram Makiyn to file an appeal. He argues that the decision to impose a seizure on Sargsyan's property is unjustified.
