Programs to be Implemented by the Prime Minister's Office Discussed
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has convened a meeting to discuss the programs and activities planned within the framework of the Prime Minister's Office budget for 2020. In particular, the activities of the offices of the deputy prime ministers and other bodies operating under the office were addressed.
It was reported that the activities will aim at modernizing the public administration system, enhancing its effectiveness, improving the quality of services provided to citizens, expanding the activities of electronic platforms, collaborating with organizations dealing with issues related to national minorities, and other projects.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of implementing work in the aforementioned areas and considered it necessary to increase the targeted delivery of services to citizens. He also urged for the acceleration of efforts in digitalizing the public sector and other directions. The head of the government highlighted the need to enhance the functionality of the public system and provided specific instructions.
