More People Arrived in Armenia Than Departed in 2018-2019, Says Pashinyan
In 2019, a total of 2,150,383 people arrived in Armenia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan shared this information on his Facebook page. He specifically noted:
“In 2018, 1,906,722 people arrived in Armenia. In 2017, the number was 1,751,729. Compared to 2017, 398,654 more people arrived in Armenia in 2019, which is an increase of 22.7 percent.
I should also mention that following the peaceful Velvet Revolution in 2018, a positive balance in favor of arrivals has been recorded. That is, unlike in many previous years, in both 2018 and 2019, more people arrived in Armenia than departed.”
