Sanitek Issues Statement
Sanitek Company’s management has issued a statement: "Sanitek closely monitors the internal political events and developments occurring around the Mayor's Office in Yerevan. What is happening is clearly aimed at pushing Sanitek out of the market, which is accompanied by illegal, arbitrary, and discriminatory actions, as evidenced by the establishment of the 'Yerevan Waste Collection and Sanitation' municipal enterprise and its subsequent activities. The illegal, arbitrary, and discriminatory violations against the company continue to this day.
For example, the City Hall consistently prevents Sanitek from managing its properties by obstructing its waste collection activities. The company remains convinced that it has been subjected to expropriation as a foreign investor. Additionally, we would like to inform you that the deadline for the government response to the notice regarding the arbitration dispute addressed to the Republic of Armenia government within the framework of the pre-arbitration process has expired in November. The government has not responded in any way to the notice and has presented no answer in this regard."
