Roads in Armenia Mostly Passable, Reports Ministry of Emergency Situations
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of 11:00 PM on December 8, the roads in the territory of Armenia are mostly passable.
The Sotk-Karvachar road and the Vardenyats Pass are open to all types of vehicles, while heavy trucks may need to use chains.
In the Syunik region, there is black ice on the Saravan-Zanger section, and snow is present in the area. Snow is also falling at the Vardenyats Pass.
According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Department of Georgia and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' North Ossetia, the Stepanstminida-Lars road is open to all types of transport vehicles.
