New Speed Camera to Be Launched
The Road Police informs that the absence of photo-enforcement technical means to monitor adherence to the established maximum traffic speed has created favorable conditions for many drivers to exceed the maximum speed limit, contributing to the emergence of hazardous situations.
According to Article 22 of the Republic of Armenia's Law on Police, a photo-enforcement speed camera has been relocated from another area and installed on the road section adjacent to number 26 H. Avetisyan Street in the city of Kapan. The police have announced that this speed camera will be operational starting from December 16, 2019.
The Road Police urges drivers to adhere to traffic rules.
