Winter Break in Schools to Start from December 23
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Arayik Harutyunyan, has signed order 405-N, which establishes the winter break dates for educational institutions implementing the state general education programs.
Thus, first graders will have their winter break from December 23, 2019, to January 19, 2020, inclusive.
Second graders will also have their winter break from December 23, 2019, to January 19, 2020, inclusive.
Students in grades 3-12 will have their winter break from December 23, 2019, to January 7, 2020, inclusive.
In private educational institutions, the duration and dates of the breaks, as well as any changes to them, are determined by the founder, who must inform the ministry within 5 working days.
